Breaded Lamb Chops



These are so versatile, you can have them with a big salad, mashed potatoes or as a side dish.

You can marinate them ahead of time.You can even cook them ahead of time and then dip them in egg and bread crumbs and fry/bake/air fry them. Just do as you please!

Ingredients for Marinade:

-Lamb Chops/Mutton Chops 2 pounds

-2 tablespoons garlic paste

-1/4 cup Soy Sauce

-2 tablespoons Vinegar

- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

-Red Pepper flakes(to taste)

-1 teaspoon black pepper

-1 teaspoon salt

- 2 cups of water

Directions:

- Put everything in a deep saucepan and cook over low to medium heat until Chops are tender.(20 to 30 minutes depending on the thickness of your chops)

Let Cool.


For the Crumbing:

- 2 eggs

- 2 tablespoons Corn Starch

- 1 1/2 cups Seasoned Breadcrumbs (I used Italian)

If using plain crumbs add 1 teaspoon Salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon dried Parsley, 1/2 teaspoon Oregano

Directions:

-Whisk together Eggs and Corn Starch with a splash of water until completely mixed.

- In another deep dish ,put bread crumbs.

-Coat the Chops first in egg mixture then in bread crumbs. Repeat Until Done.

Directions for Shallow Frying:

- In a frying pan, pour Olive oil up to an Inch and heat it up to 350 degrees. And fry one side for 2 to 3 minutes, flip and repeat. Note:Don’t Fry too many at a time, the oil temperature decreases and food becomes soggy.

You can also Air Fry according to directions or bake them on a parchment lined baking sheet(Spray with Cooking spray) at 400• F for 20 minutes, flipping once, halfway. Enjoy!
