Coffee Cheesecake Brownies.



Ok you guys. Lo and behold, this dessert is magic. You always want to have coffee & brownies right? But what if you had both in one dessert. Bomb .

There is a layer of my favorite brownies recipe that I created and then there is a layer of coffee cheesecake. Yes. You.heard.that.right.

On top of it all it is super easy to make . Winner situation.I know I say that a lot but it is.

So happy baking!

Ingredients for Brownies:

- 1/2 cup butter

- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar or 1 1/4 cup white sugar

- 3/4 good quality cocoa powder

- 1/2 all purpose flour

-1/2 teaspoon baking powder

- 2 eggs

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Ingredients for the cheesecake layer:

- 1 brick of cream cheese or 8 oz of your favorite cream cheese

- 1/4 sugar

- 1 egg yolk

- 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A few Notes:

- I used a round springform pan but you can use an 8 by 8 pan for baking.

- I reserved some brownie mixture for the swirl on top, you really do not need to.

- Bake at 330 ° F for 30 to 35 minutes.If the middle of the cheesecake has a bit of a give but feels firm, the cake is done.

- If you think it is browning too quickly on top, cover it with foil, mine didn’t need to but every oven is different.

- Cool completely and then put it in the refrigerator to cool for at at least four hours.
