Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 cup Almond Flour
1 1/2 cups Granulated sugar
4 large eggs
3/4 cups butter
1/2 cup sour cream or greek yogurt
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
Zest of an Orange
1/2 cup Sliced Almonds
powdered sugar (optional)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 325 °F .Grease and line an 8 inch round cake pan with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together ,butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one in at a time and whisk on high speed.Add both the extracts and orange zest and give it another whisk.
Sift together Flour, Almond Flour and Baking powder and salt.Then slowly fold the mixture in with the wet ingredients, alternating with sour cream.Do not over mix the batter.
Transfer to the baking pan and sprinkle sliced almonds.
Bake for 40-45 mins or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool completely on a rack and cut as desired. ENJOY!
