Shrimp Masala.



Shrimp Masala comes together in 20 ish minutes provided you’re not allergic to shellfish!

It’s a quick fix dinner. If you want to serve it to your guests, you can most definitely make the sauce ahead of time. Cook the shrimp in it last minute .

Serve it with Naan & Raita. Winner meal .

Ingredients:

- 24 medium shrimps

- 3 garlic cloves finely chopped

- 1 to 2 green chilies finely chopped

-2 tomatoes

- 1 teaspoon red chili powder

-Salt to taste

-1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala

-half a bunch of Cilantro (dhaniya)

- 1/4 chopped Cashews

-1/4 cup Olive Oil


The above yields two servings.

Directions:

- In a Wok or a deep saucepan , pour oil and green chilies & garlic cloves. Cook for a minute on low to medium heat.

- In a blender , put tomatoes, red chili powder and salt. Blend and pour in the chili oil.

- Cook for a few minutes until oil separates from gravy.

- Add shrimp and cook for 5-6 minutes on high heat.Shrimps cook really fast so don’t overcook them.

- Sprinkle Garam Masala.

- Now put Cashews and chopped Cilantro.

- Sprinkle some lemon juice .

Serve Hot.
